What does your role look like
Yuppiechef’s newsletters are an integral part of our marketing output – they are an important revenue driver for the company and are appreciated by loyal customers who read them. We design and send five mailers a week, each with a different theme and product selection, and their own creative and communication challenges. They are built in collaboration with the marketing manager and the buying and planning teams, to ensure that we deliver campaigns with broad commercial support.
Your role would include the following:
- Design five marketing newsletters per week, using our in-house developed newsletter system
- Share newsletters internally and collect feedback from different teams
- Be responsible for verifying that all links and information are correct and up-to-date according to plan
- Make final and spot checks that all special offers and promotions are live and available, before sending out the mail each weekday morning
- Establish a schedule for the creation and design of shippers to allow time for approvals from other teams
- Design of landing page marketing banners using an in-house developed system
- Stay on top of industry and media trends
- Support the rest of our design team, learn from them and collaborate with them on other projects as needed

What experience and skills do you need for the position
- At least one year of design experience, preferably in retail (please attach a portfolio as indicated in the application process)
- Experienced user of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- An advanced degree from a design school is preferred.
- Familiarity with an email design platform such as Mailchimp

Compensation and Benefits:
- We pay competitive, market-related salaries based on skills and experience, and a profit share based on company performance
