Daily Journal launches email newsletter

The Richmond County Daily Journal has published a comprehensive newsletter highlighting the people, events and activities that affect the lives of our readers.
The Daily Journal newsletter is free to anyone who wishes to subscribe. To sign up, simply go to the yourdailyjournal.com website and fill in the ‘Get Daily Headline E-Newsletters’ information box located along the right rail of our homepage. It only asks for your e-mail and your first and last name, once these are filled in, click on “subscribe”.
“Newspapers are constantly changing,” regional editor Brian Bloom said of the switch to a newsletter on non-print publication days. “We wanted to find a mechanism that would provide relevant information in a condensed format.”
The paper editions of Wednesdays and Saturdays will remain unchanged. Information previously contained in the electronic edition of the newspaper, available only to subscribers, will now be available to those who do not pay for the standard edition. That means you’ll get all of our top headlines straight to your inbox at 5am on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.
“We will continue to cover all the news our readers expect,” Bloom reiterated. “And our print edition, available every Wednesday and Saturday, can provide even more comprehensive coverage.”
Readers are urged to register today at no cost to stay informed of the latest Richmond County news.
